  • Start at the National Trust car park below Lon Golff near Morfa Nefyn.
  • Walk back along Lon Golff and turn right onto Lon Las, eventually reaching the B4417.
  • Turn right towards Tudweiliog, enjoying the panoramic views of Hell's Mouth and Yr Eifl mountains.
  • After a mile, veer left onto a footpath leading onto the dramatic Pwllheli coastline.
  • Follow the beach for around half a mile, passing rocky outcrops and the remnants of the old brick works.
  • Round the headland towards Porthdinllaen village, spotting the distinctive red Ty Coch Inn perched on the cliffs.
  • Enjoy a well-earned rest and refreshment at the Ty Coch, boasting stunning sea views and a rich history as a former vicarage and shipyard inn.
  • You can either return along the beach (tide permitting) or follow the footpath inland through Porthdinllaen and back to the car park.

  • Start at the National Trust car park and head left onto Lon Golff.
  • At the crossroads, turn right onto Lon Las and continue onto the B4417.
  • Turn right towards Tudweiliog, but after a short distance, take a left onto a footpath towards Edern.
  • This peaceful path winds through farmland and woodland, offering glimpses of the Snowdonia mountains.
  • Reach the hamlet of Edern and admire the charming cottages and St Tudweiliog's Church.
  • Continue past Edern Farm and join a coastal path with breathtaking views of Hell's Mouth and the Lleyn Peninsula.
  • Follow the cliff-top path towards Porthdinllaen, passing the new RNLI station and enjoying the dramatic scenery.
  • Arrive at the Ty Coch Inn for your well-deserved reward, soaking in the panoramic views.
  • Return to the car park along the scenic Porthdinllaen beach or the inland footpath through the village.
